I love the excitement in children's voices when they hear pawprints on the roof, or see a red nose off in the distant sky. I love the look in their eyes when their little minds are transported to the icy north or soaring across the starry sky. I love the pictures they draw when you're not looking: gingerbread men, elves, reindeer, Christmas trees, gifts.
ReplyDeleteI guess I love how the season so transforms childhood into a time of wonder and love and sweetness.
