It's different when others have a chance to peek into this dark, scary world of cutting. It's a vicious cycle.

Parents: PLEASE pay attention!
Cutters are very sneaky and will use things like protractors, diabetic needles, PAPER.....
They hide where they do it very well. Between the toes, legs, stomach, arms, fingers, under a watch....they also carve WORDS so it's not just lines. Things like "I'm fat", "I suck", "loser", etc.
If you even SUSPECT, please be proactive and seek all information on this that you can. It is more common than you think.
Again, thanks for the opportunity to tell our story.
Jen
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8991418575177100597.post-90829423133747099842013-03-07T09:32:04.363-05:002013-03-07T09:32:04.363-05:00This was very moving and more importantly, EYE-OPE...This was very moving and more importantly, EYE-OPENING. I tend to be a bit self-centered when it comes to 'my way' of doing things, and I know I can't help but wonder if I would be totally blind-sided by something like this... or maybe I wouldn't see it at all. I'll tuck this in my pocket and carry it with me into the future.
